Q: How does wireless compare with ADSL?
A: It would be unfair to compare wireless services with ADSL. However in respect to speed our current broadband service has higher speeds than the original Jetstream Home and Jetstream Starter plans. One thing you will see is that on average the ping times on the current New Zealand ADSL services range from around 47ms upward whereas our ping times tend to be as low as 9ms and upwards. (NOTE: we have actually seen ping times as low as 2.3ms)

Q: Do I need a phone line?
A: Our service is completely wireless, If you are in one of our high density hotzones than either the internal card in your laptop or your plug in wireless adapter can be used to connect. If you are not in one of the high density areas you will need a CPE or "Client Premise Equipment" installed so as to get internet access.
